Kerron & Nikki knew exactly what they wanted for their big day, they had a picture in their mind and took a hands-on approach to planning. Working directly with their wedding planner, Tricia Ng-A-Mann and specialty vendors to create all they had envisioned. From a true foodie experience with a French Style plated service for their guests, to live entertainment by a String Quartet- every detail of this magical wedding had a piece of the bride and groom.

From the Bride & Groom.. For our wedding we wanted a rustic, chic and vintage feel- emphasizing the outdoor setting of Drew Manor creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Woodland Fairytale. The ceremony was fairly simple as the garden doesn’t require many additions and we purposely planned for a short ceremony so that guests could quickly move onto the more social part of the day!

Our cocktail reception was located between The Deck and The Main House. On the Deck we tried to recreate the feeling of a London park using the park benches and street lanterns. This is also where, our fabulous decorator Brian Pantin of AbFab Events started to add his influence supplying rum casks, plants on the deck and also doing a fantastic job with the seating plan based on a concept we explained to him. The added mix of the sunset with Alternative Quartet completed this perfect setting!Photo by Kreativ Wedding

For our dinner setting we really wanted to keep it as clean and elegant as possible, sticking with a strictly white colour scheme accented with natural tones and bathed in candlelight. This scheme was applied consistently throughout the pool area from the hanging candles on the trellis, to the table decor and floating candles in the pool. For the centerpieces we opted to drop the more traditional flowers for natural twigs an branches immersed in water-filled vases. We also eschewed the more typical head table on the stage, to join our friends on one of the guests tables, where we could enjoy a more natural dinner! This left the stage free for us to add one of the park benches and street lanterns creating a magical setting for our speeches sitting under a canopy of “floating” candles with the natural backdrop of the trees behind.

Having JW and Myles was the icing on the cake! JW really kept the party going and fit in so naturally!
